1. Pick the eventOpen the live events board, choose what is on now or ring the bell on what is next.
2. Join when it is liveOne tap puts you in that event's matching room, not the general queue.
3. Match and watch togetherYou get paired with a stranger in the same event. Text, voice or video, and screen share when you want to watch side by side.

Omegle and its clones match you with a random stranger and leave you there. On Closer every event is a reason to talk: you and the person you matched with both chose to be there, at the same moment, for the same thing. That shared context is what makes the conversation start instead of dying in the first ten seconds.

Is it really free and do I need to sign up?

Yes, it is free and there is no sign-up. You can match by text, voice or video straight from your browser.

Can I actually watch the event on the site?

You watch on your own screen and share it in the call, or simply watch at the same time together. The event is the reason you are matched with someone watching it too.

What can I talk about?

Anything you like, but you already share one thing: you both showed up for the same event. That is the conversation starter.
