What Premium unlocks
- Full matching filters: distance (near you or worldwide), city, job role (employer and employee meet), interests, and up to more country filters than the free tier.
- Voice rooms for 15 people instead of 5, with optional password and a shareable link.
- Long-lived rooms: rooms that stay alive, not just the free 5-minute room window.
- Full-quality screen sharing: up to 1080p and 60 fps, versus the 480p cap on the free tier. Watch together never looked better.
- Auto-answer calls from friends and a direct channel to the team ("Send a message to dev").
The first 200
The first 200 subscribers get 1 full year for £4.99 instead of a month. It is our thank-you for trusting Closer early.
How billing works
- One price, no surprises. £4.99 per month, everything above included.
- No refunds. By subscribing you agree: subscriptions are non-refundable. It keeps the price honest and closes the subscribe, refund, repeat loophole.
- Cancel anytime. From the app, or by contacting support and we cancel it for you. Cancellation stops renewals; the current period is yours.
- Price, honestly. Any future change is announced 14 days before it applies, you always get those 14 days to cancel, and the price never goes above £10. If a change would ever exceed £10, all subscriptions would be cancelled and you would resubscribe manually. Price changes are only ever to protect the service you are paying for.
- New features included. Whatever we add, it arrives with the same subscription. New features are never the reason for a price change.

Premium FAQ
How much is Closer Premium?
£4.99 per month. It is one small deliberate price, and the first 200 subscribers get 1 year for the same £4.99.
Do I need an account to subscribe?
No. Closer is anonymous by design, and the subscription is tied to your Closer identity, not to an email. If you ever lose that identity, you can contact support and we do our best to restore it or cancel for you.
Can I cancel my subscription?
Yes, anytime, from the in-app Manage Subscription or by contacting support. Cancelling stops future renewals; subscriptions are non-refundable.
Can the price change?
Any price change is announced 14 days before it takes effect and you have at least those 14 days to cancel. The price will never go above £10; if a change would exceed £10, all subscriptions are cancelled and you would resubscribe manually.
Are new features included in the subscription?
Yes. Future features come with the same subscription; adding features is never the reason for a price change. A large part of Closer stays free: stranger matching, gender preference, voice rooms for up to 5 and games.
